Kingston Arms

After the initial St. Paul Manor renovation project, CMHC obtained grant funds to purchase the Kingston Arms Apartments (24 units) and to cover pre-development costs necessary to obtain permanent financing for its moderate rehabilitation.  The City of Detroit approved $400,000 in CDBG funds and nearly $400,000 in Rental Rehabilitation funding for its modest rehabilitation.  Work began in August 1990 and was completed in June 1992.
