St. Paul Manor

Following this effort, CMHC began the moderate rehabilitation of a 50- unit apartment building named St. Paul Manor.  During a two year period, the housing corporation put together an $860,000 finance package to rehabilitate this vacant building.  Funding came from 33 different sources including 14 religious investors, several private foundations, corporations, HUD, and the City of Detroit.  The project was completed in March 1987, and converted to 36 units to provide housing for more families with children.
